FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum is holding Pottery & Pints at Shiny Top Brewery, 520 Central Ave., from 2 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY. The class is for persons 13 years and older and the class is limited to 15 participants. Cost is $20 per person.
FORT DODGE — Western Iowa Labor Federation Fort Dodge Labor Day Picnic is SUNDAY at Oleson Park. A lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs with side dishes will be served at 1 p.m. and there will be games for kids of all ages. The picnic is free.

LAKE VIEW — Stone Pier Summer Concert series presents The Brothers Footman at 5 p.m. SUNDAY at Black Hawk Lake. There is no admission charge. Concertgoers are allowed to bring food and beverages to the picnic-style performances, food is available for sale with all proceeds directly benefitting the concert series.
LAKE VIEW — Lake View Labor Day Holiday celebrations begin SATURDAY with Chalk the Walk from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Main Street. The Farmers Market will also be open. SUNDAY’S events begin with Ronald’s Road Rally at The Bar in Lake View with noon registration. Registration is $25 per person with kids riding free. The annual Belgian Waffle Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon MONDAY at the Centennial Shelter House in Speaker Park. Advance tickets are $7 or $8 at the door. DAYTON — The Dayton Championship Rodeo is 5 p.m TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY and 11:30 a.m. MONDAY at the Dayton Rodeo Grounds, Dayton. There will be a parade at 10 a.m. Monday. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 6 and 11 years, and free for children 5 years and under.

HUMBOLDT — First United Methodist Church, Humboldt, is holding Cowboy Church at 5 p.m. SATURDAY in the church sanctuary. Warm-up music begins at 5 p.m. with worship beginning at 5:30 p.m. Food will follow in the bunkhouse for a freewill offering.
