FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. The sale will be held every weekend in August. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Adam Girard. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by Rock n’ Rollamatics. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church, 127 N. 10th St., is holding a Community Manna Meal at 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Food will be provided by First Presbyterian Church. Bingo will follow the meal.

FORT DODGE — Rib Ruckus Rib and Steak Competition is 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. SATURDAY on the north side of the City Square in downtown Fort Dodge. Admission is $15 per person with children 12 years and under free. There will be live entertainment, barbecue sampling all day, beer garden and barbecue rib dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. while supplies last.

FORT DODGE — The annual reunion of Webster County Washington Township School #10 is 11:30 a.m. SATURDAY at Perkins Restaurant, 511 S. 32nd St. There will be a Dutch treat lunch. All former students, spouses, teachers and parents are welcome.

FORT DODGE — Second Baptist Church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S., is celebrating its 132nd anniversary at 4 p.m. SUNDAY. Guest speaker will be Rev. Marvin Jenkins. The Union Missionary Baptist Church choir from Waterloo will perform.

FORT DODGE — The second annual Fort Dodge Police Association Golf Tournament begins at 9 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Country Club, 370 Country Club Drive. Fee is $200 per team ($50 per person). There will be prizes awarded to top teams, a silent auction and raffles. Proceeds will benefit the Fort Dodge Police Association to help fund community outreach programs include Santa Cops.

FORT DODGE — The 2019 Kayla Jones Memorial Scholarship Ride is 9:30 a.m. to midnight SATURDAY at Lefti’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 2001 Second Ave. N. The ride is for motorcycles and other vehicles. Registration is 9:30 to 11 a.m. The ride begins at 11 a.m. and returns by 5:30 p.m. for live and silent auctions and freewill donation pork loin dinner. Cost is $15 for biker and $10 for rider. There will be door prizes and DJ from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. All proceeds go toward the Kayla Jones Memorial Scholarships.

EMMETSBURG — The third annual Half Way to St. Pats is 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds, Emmetsburg. Activities include Kansas City barbecue, tractor ride, car show, craft vendors, kids activities, water slides, co-ed volleyball, bean bag tournament, bands and beverage garden. GILMORE CITY — Gilmore City Fun Days are TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Gilmore City. Today’s events begin at 5 p.m. through midnight. Saturday’s events begin at 8 a.m. through midnight and Sunday’s events begin at 8:30 a.m.

STRATFORD — McGuire Bend United Brethren Church annual ice cream social is 5 to 7 p.m. TODAY at the Stratford City Park. Beef burgers, chips, pie and ice cream will be served for a freewill donation.

HARCOURT — Faith Lutheran Church, Harcourt, is holding an ice cream social and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Beef burgers, beans, chips, homemade ice cream, pie and beverages will be served for a freewill offering.

WEBSTER CITY — The 30th annual Tour de Webster Bicycle Race and Ride is 9 a.m. SUNDAY beginning at the Iowa Central Community College parking lot, 1725 Beach St., Webster City. This is both a bike road race and a non-competitive fun ride. The long course is 29.2 miles and the short course is 21.8 miles. The entire route will be on hard surfaced county roads. Packet pick up is 8 to 9 a.m. Cost is $23 per person and includes a Tour de Webster shirt.

PALMER — The 36th annual Wiegert Prairie Fall Fest begins at 10 a.m. SUNDAY at the Wiegert Prairie Farmstead, Palmer. There will be a Civil War reenactment, a reenactment of the 1969 moon landing, tractor ride, church service at 10:30 a.m., grilled food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prairie rides and live music. The event is free.

HOMER — The West Central Region Cockshutt and Co-op Club Threshing Bee is SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Homer. Admission is $5 per person. There will be a Lions Club pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday and homemade ice cream. The food stand opens at noon each day. Weather permitting, a tractor ride from Homer to Brushy Creek State Recreation Area will start at 9 a.m. Sunday.
