FORT DODGE — Shag the Drag Meals on Wheels Third annual 5K Run is SATURDAY. The 3-mile run begins at the Ringland-Smeltzer House, 1019 Second Ave. S., at 9 a.m. A one-mile run begins at 9:05 a.m. The routes go through historic downtown Fort Dodge. Register online at sites.google.com/view/shaggingthedrag2019. Bring cash for your donation to the event. Cost is $5.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. People attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Aglow International of Fort Dodge & Surrounding Area will host Kimberly Hembry at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. Hembry will share a message entitled, “That’s Just Who I Am.” The program is event and refreshments are provided.

FORT DODGE — Market On Central is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY in Historic Downtown Fort Dodge. Entertainment will be provided by Rowan McCartney and Friends.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Joni Wallace. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre, 521 N. 12th St., present “The Big Meal” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY. Tickets are $10 per person.

FORT DODGE — Stage Door Productions presents “The Little Mermaid Jr.” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 5 and up. Tickets may be purchased at Hy-Vee, 115 S. 29th St., and Fort Dodge Fine Art Association, 921 Central Ave.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by Brad and Kate. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — Community Christian School Rummage Sale is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY in the school gym, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. There will be local food truck vendors in the parking lot.
