Two people were injured in a crash in Webster County Thursday.

Deputy Justin Wood, of the Webster County Sheriff’s Department, said the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the curve that merges Parker Drive with 200th Street. A Chevrolet Colorado, driven by Bryan Holst, was westbound on Parker Drive, while a GMC dump truck, driven by Timothy Rasmussen, was preparing to make a left turn out of a driveway just off the road. According to Wood, the dump truck pulled out in front of the pickup, causing the two vehicles to collide. Both Rasmussen and Holst were transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center with what Wood described as likely minor injuries. The Fort Dodge Fire Department and Moorland Fire Department also responded to the scene.
