A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with three offenses after police say he fired a gun, sending a bullet through a home in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood early Thursday morning.

No one was injured in the incident, which was reported at 1:55 a.m.

The youth, who was not named by Fort Dodge police, is charged with going armed with intent, carrying weapons and reckless use of a firearm. He was transported to Central Iowa Detention in Eldora.
