What is important to you?

What is most important to me, is my family — my three children, my grand-children, my great-granddaughter, my children’s spouses, my church and my community.

What do you like about Fort Dodge?

I like the improvement of the building up of the city in every way — I can see the beautification of the city every day — all the growth makes me feel that it is a better place to live.

What are you building for the future?

  I’m working on writing a book on the Black History of Fort Dodge with Mr. Roger Natte and hoping to build and improve more spirit of unity in the city.

What are you working hardest on?

  I’m working hard to get the Black History Book finished and wish to build more unity in the church.
