County Supervisors keep it short
Webster County Board of Supervisors finished their work quickly Tuesday morning, taking less than five minutes to cover a light agenda.
The board approved hiring Meredith Mickelson as the First Five program coordinator for the county public health department. First five is a statewide program to encourage healthy mental development in young children during their first five years.
Discussion of a new land purchase, noted as “Parcel no. 2,” was on the agenda, but was tabled for discussion at a later meeting.
Also tabled was setting a date for a public hearing on designation of the expanded Webster County Urban Renewal Area and on the Urban Renewal Plan amendment, which will be taken up at a later meeting.
