Ace Grell

4th Grade

Cooper Elementary

Who do you look up to, and who are your heroes or role models?

Mom and Dad

What inspires you to do the things you do that go above and beyond classwork?

My teachers and parents and I want to be a good role model for my nephews because they look up to me.

How do you see your leadership taking you into the future?

Maybe others will see me do good and help others and want to do the same.

What does leadership mean to you?

Being a good person and helping others that need it.

What are you working hardest on?

Continuing to be a helpful, kind person to others.

“Ace Grell has been a student at Cooper Elementary for the last four years, and most of that time he has been very quiet and reserved. He has always worked hard but kept to himself and did what was expected. This year Ace is becoming more outgoing and a student who shows great kindness and citizenship. Early in the year there was a younger student who lives near him that did not have anyone to walk home with and was a little nervous about walking alone. Ace volunteered to walk with him and has started a friendship that continues both in and out of school. Ace has also been observed around the building helping kindergarteners get to class and breakfast, picking up things for others that have been dropped and holding doors for staff carrying in materials for their class. He has really turned into a thoughtful, caring student.”
