FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — Hillbilly Sale and Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169 S. Gate admission is $2 per person 12 and over. 4-H fundraiser breakfast and lunch each day.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Tim Fast. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by Rock N Rollamatics. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — Clint Pringle Memorial Race is 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Grandstand admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $20 for a pit pass, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate.

FORT DODGE — Icky’s Back to School Bash is 6 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at 125 N. 27th St. for students and parents of students in fifth through 12th grades. There will be free food, prizes and games.

FORT DODGE — Holy Trinity Summer Spirit Block Party is SATURDAY at the St. Edmond campus, 501 N. 22nd St. Mass will begin at 4:15 p.m. in the St. Edmond High School gym. There will be games, food and dancing from 5:30 to 9 p.m. A freewill offering dinner of pork burgers, hot dogs, chips and cookies will be served. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. There will be activities for all ages, a DJ for street dancing and a dunk tank. Funds raised from the dunk tank will go to the parish food pantry.

FORT DODGE — Aglow International of Fort Dodge & Surrounding Area will host Pastors Wally and Lana Shea of Ankeny at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. They will share a message titled, “Brinigng in the Reality of God.” Refreshments will be provided.

FORT DODGE — Shag The Drag event is 6 p.m. to midnight SATURDAY in downtown Fort Dodge. Those attending may drive up and down Central Avenue and park at the City Square to socialize. There will be food trucks, ice cream truck and music.

Journey of Hope walk/ride is Saturday

FORT DODGE — Journey of Hope Walk/Bike Ride is SATURDAY at Community Tap and Pizza, 2026 Fifth Ave. S. There will be one and three mile fun walks and a 30 mile bike ride. The bike ride begins at 8 a.m. at the Community, going to Badger, Vincent and back to the Community. The walks start at 11 a.m. Magician Larry Dunbar will perform and there will be face painting and children’s games. All proceeds go to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center for children’s cancer research for seriously ill children and child loss support.

Retirement party for Helen Miller will be Saturday

FORT DODGE — A retirement reception for state Rep. Helen Miller, D-Fort Dodge, is 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY at Willow Ridge Golf Club, 1788 Madison Ave.

Back to School Bash to be held Sunday

FORT DODGE — Lighthouse Ministries annual Back to School Bash is 5 p.m. SUNDAY at 1333 Fourth Ave. N. There will be a worship concert, obstacle course and school supply giveaway.

Blessing of the Backpacks to be held Sunday

FORT DODGE — St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1007 First Ave. S., is holding Blessing of the Backpacks during the 10 a.m. worship service SUNDAY. All students, including college, along with administrators, teachers and adults are invited to have their backpacks, workbags or briefcases blessed.

OTHO — Webster County Museum, Otho, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY.

PILOT MOUND — An Antique Tractor and Plow Demonstration will be at 10 a.m. TODAY on the farm of LaVerne Johnson, 214 J Ave., Pilot Mound.

MOORLAND — Moorland Fire Department is holding a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Moorland Community Center.
