Richard Remme gets a little snuggle from Balew, in this undated photo provided by Richard prior to the shooting incident. Richard said he was playing around with the dog Wednesday when Balew bumped the gun he was carrying and accidentally shot him in the leg.

Richard Remme continues to recover in the hospital after an accidental shooting yesterday. While playing with his dog, Balew, the gun he was carrying accidentally went off.
