-Submitted photo Malena Huse and Colton Poncin were crowned Friday afternoon as the homecoming queen and king for Eagle Grove High School. The coronation ceremony was part of a week of activities called The Homecoming Games, a title which was a tribute to the book and movie ‘‘The Hunger Games.’’ The Eagle Grove Eagles faced the Manson Northwest Webster Cougars in Friday night’s homecoming football game. A homecoming dance tonight will cap the week’s activities.
