-Messenger photo by Chad Thompson Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 169 south of Humboldt Friday night, according to the Humboldt County sheriff's office. Traffic was backed up for about an hour while Humboldt volunteer firefighters worked to rescue one of the crash victims who was pinned inside his vehicle.The names of the crash victims were not available Friday night. The Humboldt Police Department was also on scene.
