Driver arrested
No injuries reported in two-vehicle collision in FD

One man was injured and another arrested after a two-vehicle collision near Sneakers Eatery and Pub on Central Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to Fort Dodge police reports. Virgil Spindle, 65, of Fort Dodge, was traveling southbound in a Chevrolet Corvette. Kenneth Seversen, 70, of Fort Dodge, was driving a Lexus SUV and traveling eastbound. The corvette sustained significant damage to the front end. Seversen’s injuries are believed to be minor. Spindle was arrested for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol. He was reported to have no injuries.
