Duncombe Elementary being relocated amid building safety concerns
Duncombe Elementary’s 350 students will attend classes in the former Fair Oaks Middle School building this fall due to structural concerns recently discovered at the elementary building.
The issues were noticed by the building’s staff during summer remodeling efforts and verified by a structural engineer from architectural firm ISG of Mankato, Minnesota, which is helping the school district develop its long-range facilities plan.
