Graves, a recent graduate of PCI Academy in Ames, and a Southeast Valley High School graduate, returned to Gowrie to open Savvy Beauty Salon & Boutique.

The downtown salon and boutique, located at 1136 Market Street in Gowrie, includes a mix of women’s apparel, accessories, home decor, gifts, and salon services including haircuts, color, styling, makeup, and salon products.

“The heart behind Savvy Beauty is a blend of faith, passion, and community,” said Graves. “I’ve always loved how a fresh haircut or a new outfit can completely change how someone feels about themselves. I wanted to create a space where women feel seen, supported, and confident right here in my hometown.”

According to Graves, she also designed the salon to be a space where customers can feel uplifted and inspired.

Savannah Graves hosted an open house recently at Savvy’s Beauty Salon & Boutique in Gowrie for area residents to see her new salon and storefront.
