Revolving loan fund is available in Calhoun County
ROCKWELL CITY — The Calhoun County Economic Development Corp. is reminding local entrepreneurs and business owners that its revolving loan fund is available and accepting applications year-round.
This flexible, low-interest loan program was established to support both new startups and growing businesses throughout Calhoun County.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities,” said Theresa Hildreth, executive director of the development corporation. “This fund gives local entrepreneurs and business owners the financial tools they need to grow, create jobs and strengthen our economy.”
The revolving loan fund was established in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and continues to operate as revolving financial tool – reinvesting repaid fund into future lonas for other local businesses.

Loan decisions made locally by a volunteer loan committee and approved by the development corporation Board of Directors.
