Visit Fort Dodge was honored recently by the Iowa Tourism Office for its online presence. Visit Fort Dodge received the Outstanding Website Award in the metro category. The award was presented during the 2023 Iowa Tourism Conference held in Altoona. Awards, divided into metro and rural distinctions, were presented in 13 categories. “We continue to see tourism rebound in Iowa,” Amy Zeigler, the state tourism manager, said in a written statement. “Events are definitely back, as evidenced by the 25 nominations we received for Outstanding Event.
