Mad Rabbit Dezign is the new name for a long-established Fort Dodge business — Double M. Signs and Graphics, 709 S. 25thSt.
“The reason we changed is we wanted to freshen things up. We wanted to show our customers that we are the best in the area at branding or re-branding,” said Jerry Garrett, Mad Rabbit Dezign’s general manager. “The logo is edgy and sounds cool. The name change came from us wanting to be fresh and up-to-date and a little bit edgy — to create a little buzz about the business. And that’s also what we want to do for our customers.”
He said helping clients sell products or ideas is at the heart of the service Mad Rabbit Dezign offers.
“We’re a full service vinyl and screen printing company as well as signage,” Garrett said. “We do everything from commercial printing to window decals. We print on all kinds of materials. We print on numerous different substances. We do any and all kinds of promotional printing. That’s your cups, pens, headbands, Frisbees. There is a long list of those kinds of products.”
Adding words, logos and/or graphics to apparel is a major component of the work the six-person team at Mad Rabbit Dezign undertakes.

“As far as the apparel side, we do polos, hoodies, all your corporate stuff,” Garrett said. “We can do jackets, workwear, safety wear, high-visibility things for construction workers. We do T-shirts for fundraising events, sport teams, everything like that. We can do embroidery as well on hats or shirts.”
Signs, banners and vehicle wraps are all part of the agenda.
“We do all kinds of banners,” Garrett said. “We have three or four different kinds of banner materials.”
He said in addition to having a new name, the business is evolving constantly in other ways.
“We’re always doing new and different things in here, working on the processes and drastically improving the experience for the customer,” Garrett said.

He said what especially sets the business apart, however, is an unrelenting focus on responding to each customer’s needs fully and making that client’s experience topnotch.
“We offer attentive customer service and fast turnaround,” Garrett said.
He stressed that jobs of all sizes are welcome noting that the client mix includes businesses, organizations and members of the general public.
“If you want one custom-made sweatshirt done we could certainly do that,” Garrett said. “If somebody has a 20-shirt apparel order, we could do that. If somebody turned in a 5,000-shirt order we could sure take care of that as well.”
Team members of the Mad Rabbit Dezign have the expertise to provide as much design help as a client requires.
“We have top-of-the-line graphic designers,” Garrett said. “We do logo designs for people, too. If there’s a new business, we can take care of all their needs from logo design all the way to printing products.”
He said that while many customers know exactly what they want, he and his team members enjoy providing advice and assistance to those who aren’t sure what options would best meet their requirements.
“That’s our opportunity to educate them,” Garrett said.
Mad Rabbit Dezign is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The company has a website — www. madrabbitdezign.com — and a Facebook page.
“We have a lot of product information on there and a link to email us,” Garrett said.
