Webster County Sheriff’s Detective Jason Bahr keeps an eye on an upcoming grade crossing during a Union Pacific Crossing Accident Reduction Enforcement exercise in Fort Dodge. The program puts police officers on the train to help raise awareness of grade crossing safety. The exercise resulted in eight citations and one warning. Officers from the Webster County Sheriff’s office, Fort Dodge Police Department and the Iowa State Patrol participated.
