Fort Dodge historian Roger Natte talks to Earlene Nordstrom, of Fort Dodge, after a talk on Ed Breen’s Letters from Home at the Vincent House. Natte spoke about the letters written by Breen to service men and women from Webster County during World War II. What started as an idea by a radio personality in Alabama was adopted by Breen, who for three years sent letters to 5,500 area people serving in the war.
