The roof of this home at 715 Elizabeth Ave. was crushed after high winds caused a tree to fall. The tree put a hole in the roof and caused a brick chimney to topple into the back yard. No injuries occurred, and the family was staying at a hotel, according to employees with Thomas Bros. Tree Removal who were removing the tree from the roof piece by piece.
