This two-bedroom house made its way from 412 N. 12th St. onto an acreage south of Fort Dodge. Vote House Moving, of Bradgate, started the journey about 8:30 a.m., and shortly before 9 a.m. the little parade was turning from Second Avenue South onto South Eighth Street, headed south. There were several turns on the route because the movers had to contend with traffic lights and electric lines. The house, built in 1956, was going to be set on a foundation on the acreage.
