Ray Peltz, of Fort Dodge, shows off a case of medals and papers from his time in World War II. He earned both the Silver Star and Bronze Star during his four years of service. Peltz was among the first group of area veterans to participate in the first Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight in May 2010.
