It was a team effort to remove snow from the sidewalks and driveway at the Michelle Ball residence on North Ninth Street after the first winter storm of the season dropped close to 14 inches of snow throughout central Iowa. Ball and seven family members and friends took to the sidewalks with shovels to get the sidewalks clear as quickly as possible.
