Marissa Anderson, then 13, shoots a pellet gun at the Webster County Pheasants Forever’s 17th annual Fall Family Outing as Chapter Board Member Nick Meyer supervises. Children got $200 “pheasant dollars” at every game they played, more depending on how well they did. They could then use those dollars to bid on toys, pop and other items in a kids auction.
