Fort Dodge Correctional Facility staff and a group of Special Olympians set out on the first leg of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run/Walk to benefit Iowa Special Olympics. Staff walked from the Correctional Facility to the Ampride gas station and back. Fort Dodge Correction Facility staff help raise money for the annual event. Fort Dodge police kept the walkers safe with a traffic escort.
