Tim Gailey, with Midwest Construction Services, knocks over the last free-standing section of the building that formerly housed Mickey’s Pawn Shop and Larita’s Cakes and More at 17th Street South and Fifth Avenue South. The city of Fort Dodge purchased the building and was planning to put the site up for sale with the requirement that the new owners build on the lot.
