Pride in Community Appearance volunteer Betsy O’Leary works pruning recently planted flowers in front of Butler Elementary School in Fort Dodge. PICA began work on Butler during the Community Day of Caring on Sept. 11, 2008, and worked on the flower beds, edged the sidewalks, trimmed trees and placed new mulch around the trees. The volunteers worked several days at the school. PICA is still involved in many community improvement projects around Fort Dodge.
