Fair Oaks Middle School sixth-grader Alexis Castor helps demonstrate volleyball spiking for her classmates in Carol Stripling and Richard Bahr’s physical education class. According to Stripling, the sixth-graders are only required to have physical education for two of the four quarters in the school year. Fifth-graders have three quarters with the fourth devoted to a health unit.
