Kaley Feser, then 9, asks her mom Ann, “What’s this green stuff,” as she samples the turkey noodle soup Wednesday evening at the Family Table event sponsored by the United Way United for Fun After School Families. Participants learned about preparing easy nutritious meals and each family was given groceries to prepare the recipes at home. The event was held in the cafeteria at Butler Elementary School. The green stuff was cilantro.
