-Messenger file photo Steve Powell and Tom Donner show a handmade quilt made by Linda Cookman which was the fourth and final of a series. The quilt raised $1,500 at the 2005 Sweetheart Gala. In the foreground is a silk kimono style top hand-painted by Pam Sanders. Dinner and dancing followed the auction which raised a new record of over $41,000 for the American Heart Association.
