After the mud volleyball was over, Riley Dresser, then 5, jumped at the chance to play in the gooey stuff. She had traveled from Ankeny to enjoy Gowrie Appreciation Days and was visiting her grandparents, Don and Pat Gustafson, in Fort Dodge, which is where her mother, Jeanna Dresser grew up.
