What grade/ subject do you teach?

Ninth through 12th grade physical education and 10th-grade health.

Why do you teach?

I teach to help kids learn and understand how to make healthy choices in life.

What is your favorite part of the school day?

My favorite part of the day is getting to connect with my students and learning bits and pieces of what makes them tick and what inspires them.

What are you working hardest on right now?

I will always be working on finding ways to help motivate and inspire students to get moving on their own outside of school.

What are you most proud of as a teacher?

As a teacher I am really proud of my ability to connect with my students and build quality relationships.

What makes you happiest as a teacher?

I love when students are digging deep and asking the complex questions and wanting to learn more. I love when students take responsibility for their learning.

What are your interests/hobbies outside of school?

Outside of school you will usually find me with my family or getting some type of exercise in.

What do you wish your students/families knew about you?

I want my students and their families to know just how much I care about them and their success.
