FDSH speech team members earn top rating at state

Fort Dodge Senior High students prepared 32 entries for the Iowa High School Speech Association District Individual Speech Contest on Feb. 27.

Twenty seven Fort Dodge Senior High performers received Division I ratings and moved on to the State Individual Speech Contest March 13.

Receiving Division I ratings were:

Joey Kelley: Solo Musical Theater — “Why God Why?”

Maddy Vinchattle: Solo Musical Theater — “Pretty Funny”

Reagan Black: Solo Musical Theater — “The Song That No One Likes”

Lilly Johnson: Solo Musical Theater — “Naughty”

Michael Wagner: Solo Musical Theater — “Good-Bye”

Grace Casciato: Radio News Announcing

Aaron Amhof: Acting — “The Glass Menagerie”

Gracie Miller: Acting — “The Towel Lady”

Josh Meier: Acting — “A Know-It-All in the Park”
