Mandy Reese, MRI lead, was named the July Employee of the Month at UnityPoint Health -- Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Reese was nominated by Andrea Truschcheff, manager of radiology, for her exceptional leadership and dedication to the imaging team.
"Mandy demonstrates creative and strategic thinking, finding new ways to manage productivity while expanding the services we offer to our patients and the communities we serve," said Truschcheff.
Reese has played an integral role in establishing MRI prostate imaging -- developing protocols and designing workflows for this new service.
"This is an important advancement that enhances both patient care and access to specialized services," said Truschcheff. "Mandy's leadership, initiative and commitment to excellence have made a significant and lasting impact."
Additionally, Reese has made outstanding progress on the ACR Breast Center of Excellence certification work, a complex initiative that has been in progress for years. Trushcheff said her persistence, organization and attention to detail have moved this effort forward in meaningful ways.
