Jennifer Sumpter and Nolan Vitzthum joined the LifeWorks Community Services Board of Directors.
As board members, they will provide oversight to LifeWorks' paid leadership as they fulfill the organization's mission.
The mission of LifeWorks Community Services is to provide opportunities for growth and achievement to persons with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living.
Sumpter is the executive director of Webster County Public Health. She received her Associate's degree in nursing from Iowa Central Community College and her Bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She is originally from Pomeroy.
Vitzthum is a licensed independent social worker and owns a group private practice in Humboldt, The Heart of Play. Additionally she serves as board president on Iowa's Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers Iowa Chapter Board, and volunteers on the Social Work Committee for the Iowa Professionals Licensing Board.
