Heather Ochs-DeCoursey

Friendship Haven announced that Heather Ochs-DeCoursey has joined the team as wellness coordinator. In this role, she brings a lifelong passion for fitness, health, and nutrition to the Friendship Haven campus.

She graduated from Iowa State University in Ames with a degree in animal ecology. Before moving to Fort Dodge in 2024, she spent 17 years with First State Bank, serving as assistant vice president of marketing, human resources, and payroll.

Since relocating to Fort Dodge, she previously served as social services coordinator at Friendship Haven. In her role as wellness coordinator, she helps support programs and services that encourage residents to stay active and maintain their health and well-being.

She is married to Paul DeCoursey and has two children in college, Madison and Mason.
