Chelsea Thanupakorn

Chelsea Thanupakorn, a patient care technician in acute care, received the ROSE Award at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center.

She was nominated by a patient for making their experience more personal and comforting.

“Chelsea went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and not bored,” the patient wrote. “We took many walks and made trips down to the gift shop for magazines and other things.”

Thanupakorn was honored during a celebration with her family and team members.

The ROSE Award stands for Recognition Of Service Excellence and is presented to patient care technicians who consistently demonstrate clinical expertise, extraordinary service and compassionate care.
