She will begin seeing patients on Monday.

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, she will see patients for mental health evaluation, diagnosis and medication management.

Bowman began her nursing career in 2005 at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Over the years, she has gained experience in a variety of settings, including family practice, long-term care, home care, mental health, and addiction services. For the past four years, she has served the Fort Dodge community, specializing in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder.

She recently completed her master’s degree at Herzing University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, specializing in psychiatric mental health. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau.
