Woodruff Named 2024 INFORMS Fellow

University of California Davis Professor David L. Woodruff, a Fort Dodge native renowned for his work in business analytics, has been named to the 2024 class of INFORMS Fellows, one of the highest honors in the field of operations research and analytics.

INFORMS, the premier international association for the decision and data sciences, names a new class of fellows each year. They are leaders in the field whose innovative contributions have transformed industries and improved lives worldwide. Woodruff, one of 12 named to the 2024 INFORMS Fellows class, will be celebrated at the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting, to be held Oct. 20-23 in Seattle, Washington.

Woodruff is being honored for contributions to the theory and practice of stochastic optimization, the development of high-quality open source software and service to the operations research community.
