Secory receives ROSE Award

Shade Secory receives ROSE Award

Shade Secory, a patient care technician in Acute Care, received the ROSE Award at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center.

She was nominated by a patient, thanking her for her hard work and professionalism.

“Shade brought a level of professionalism as a patient care technician that I have not experienced before. She was so welcoming, empathetic, positive, and overall caring for me as a patient,” the nominator wrote. “Shade kept the time upbeat and was willing to meet my joking standards. She has set a standard for me when experiencing other patient care technicians in the field.”

The ROSE Award stands for Recognition Of Service Excellence and is presented to patient care technicians who consistently demonstrate excellence through clinical expertise, extraordinary service and compassionate care. They are recognized as outstanding role models in the nursing community.
