Farmers National Co., a leading farm and ranch management company, is pleased to announce that Kyle Larsen, of Humboldt, has joined the company as an associate appraiser.

He has a bachelor’s degree in animal science with a minor in food safety from Iowa State University in Ames. He is also a member of the ASFMRA (American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers).

Larsen joins Humboldt County Certified General Real Property Appraiser Thad Naeve, as well as Area Sales Manager Tom Schutter, to serve the agricultural appraisal needs of Iowa. As a licensed associate appraiser, Larsen appraises agricultural properties ranging from vacant farmland to complex properties, such as dairy, hog, and poultry facilities. He has a passion for the pork industry and meat processing, but his ultimate passion of raising pigs and farming brought him back to rural Iowa.

Larsen joins the Farmers National Co. team of 23 certified general appraisers, associates, and trainees who collectively complete more than 1,000 agricultural appraisals annually.
