VDFHC welcomes new behavioral health therapist
WEBSTER CITY — Denise McDuffey-Bauer has joined the behavioral health team at Van Diest Family Health Clinic.
McDuffey-Bauer received her Bachelor of Science and Social Work in 2016 from West Texas A&M and her Master of Social Work in 2017 from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has worked as a transitional housing case manager in Amarillo, Texas, and served as the crisis outreach team case manager and respite liaison at the Texas Panhandle Centers. McDuffey-Bauer was an associate licensed therapist for Georgia Pines in Thomasville, Georgia, and served as a school therapist for the Thomas County School System, Thomasville, Georgia.
Most recently, she has worked as a private practitioner for Grace Counseling and Consulting LLC, in Fort Dodge.
McDuffey-Bauer will see patients at VDFHC Monday through Thursday, beginning in early April, and will also offer patients the option of meeting virtually.
