GreenState gets new CEO

GreenState Credit Union, which has a branch in Fort Dodge, has a new chief executive officer.

Vikram Israni was hired recently by the credit union’s board of directors following a nationwide search. He was most recently the chief financial officer at Wings Credit Union headquartered in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

“I am honored and eager to lead GreenState Credit Union on their next chapter,” Israni said in a written statement. “With the organization’s tremendous reputation and commitment to its members and communities, this is an exciting opportunity. I look forward to working with the dedicated team at GreenState to continue delivering exceptional products and services as well as innovative solutions and savings to our members.”

Israni has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management – Thunderbird and a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.

“Our board was impressed by Vic’s visionary leadership, strategic acumen and commitment to the credit union philosophy,” Fred Mims, the chairman of the GreenState Credit Union Board of Directors, said in a written statement. “We believe his experience will further strengthen GreenState’s position as a trusted financial partner for our members.”
