Amanda Gregerson

Amanda Gregerson, a licensed practical nurse at UnityPoint Clinic Kenyon Road — Neurology, was named the December Employee of the Month at UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge.

Gregerson was nominated by Jenny Condon, an advanced registered nurse practitioner at UnityPoint Clinic Kenyon Road — Pulmonology, for the solid foundation she provides to all UnityPoint Specialty Clinics, most recently in the Pulmonology Clinic.

“Amanda has willingly seized the opportunity to make herself available to step in and assist with in-basket tasks, training new staff, and keeping up with her other duties — all while keeping things moving smoothly,” Condon said. “She is a fierce advocate for our patients and shows compassion in how she interacts and relates to their unique and individual needs. To have complete faith that she will not only do a task, but do it with confidence, proficiency, and integrity affords myself and our office a sense of hope and so much more.”

Gregerson ensures timely patient care while maintaining rapport with patients, families and team members. Regardless of her workload, she makes each patient feel as if they are her one and only.

“In her spare time, Amanda provides additional leadership for our office and is a wealth of information and knowledge,” Condon said. “She is a wonderful friend, colleague, and I am so proud to work with her. The one-on-one time she spends with the patient and families educating, providing nursing guidance, and timely care is hard to find, and she checks all the boxes.”
