Case Fuller announced as new regional director for SBDC

Kirsten Case Fuller is the new regional director for North Central Iowa SBDC at Iowa Central Community College, located at the Fort Dodge East Campus. Case Fuller will advise and train entrepreneurs and existing business owners in Audubon, Buena Vista, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Guthrie, Hamilton, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Sac, and Webster counties.

“I am thrilled to introduce Kirsten Case Fuller as our new regional director and welcome her to our team,” said Lisa Shimkat, America’s SBDC Iowa state director. “With her exceptional skills, dedication, and passion for empowering small businesses, I have no doubt that she will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. Together, we will continue to foster innovation, growth, and prosperity in Iowa’s vibrant small business community.”

With over two decades of cross-sector leadership experience, Case Fuller brings insights into capacity building, community relations, and strategy implementation. She has served as the manager of leadership and workforce development with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, as an executive director for an adult literacy organization, as engagement strategist for a public utility with a 13-county service territory, and as the chief service officer for the city of Omaha.

America’s SBDC Iowa is an outreach program of Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business and the Office of Economic Development and Industry Relations.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, America’s SBDC Iowa has 15 regional assistance centers located strategically across the state. Since the program’s inception in 1981, the SBDC has helped Iowa businesses and entrepreneurs.
