Ziegler, which has a construction and agricultural equipment dealership in Fort Dodge, has opened a new store near Grundy Center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 20 and Iowa Highway 14.

“We are primarily a field service location, which means all of our technicians go out to support our customers in the field or on the job site,” said Noah Martens, branch operations manager for the new location. “Our technicians being mobile allows equipment repairs and maintenance to be performed onsite, maximizing our customers’ uptime.”

Those technicians will go to farms and job sites within a 60-mile radius of the store.

The Grundy Center location offers a full line of Caterpillar equipment and represents FENDT, RoGator and TerraGator, CLAAS combines and Brandt grain-handling equipment.

It has a 20,250 square foot parts warehouse.

“There’s a good chance we have the part you need on-site,” Martens said. “If we do need to order a part, Ziegler has an extensive parts shuttle system, so we can usually get what you need within a day.”

Ziegler has 32 locations, including nine in Iowa. The rest are in Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. The company has more than 2,500 employees.
