Jen Lane

Friendship Haven has announced that Jen Lane has joined the team as the director of engagement. In her role, she will build a culture of philanthropy and giving of time, talent, and treasures at Friendship Haven through relationship development with residents, families, community members, staff, and stakeholders.

Lane attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication studies. She worked at the American Cancer Society for 15 years and served as the director of communications for the Fort Dodge Community School District for the past 11 years. She lives in Gowrie with her husband, Brad, and has three adult children, Jordan, Carter, and Madison. For fun she enjoys traveling, hiking, watching football, and reading.

Friendship Haven is a not-for-profit, life plan community, offering innovative and responsive services to aging adults. Living options on its campus include independent living town homes and apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, and memory support programs.
