A husband and wife team of dentists has joined the staff of the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge.

They are Dr. Erika Bowman and Dr. Thaylan Bowman.

While studying at Texas A&M, she met her now husband, Dr. Thaylan Bowman, during a genetics lecture. She attended the University of Texas where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in Houston, Texas. After living in Texas for a decade, she and her husband missed the Midwest lifestyle and decided to move back home. Dr. Thaylan Bowman is a native of the Fort Dodge-Humboldt area. After graduating from Humboldt High School, Bowman relocated to Texas for nine years where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. He met the love of his life and fellow Midwesterner, Dr. Erika Bowman, while attending a genetics lecture at Texas A&M University.
