Lex Cashmore

Dr. Lex Cashmore, a dentist practicing in Eagle Grove and Manson, is currently published in the scientific journal Special Care Dentistry. That publication is the official journal of Geriatic and Special Needs Dentistry.

She is the co-author of an article entitled “Cognitive status and dental-related function in older adults seeking community-based dental care: A plot study.” The article points out the challenges for family caregivers, retirement homes and medical providers, including dentists, in identifying and providing the best care to cognitively impaired individuals. Cashmore co-authored the article with Xi Chen, Jirakate Madiloggovit-Lower and Tabitha Peter. It appeared in the May 2023 edition of the publication.
